Liquid Leveling is an audio work on a CD walkman with headphones to be experienced individually. Liquid Leveling is an intoxication seminar in 5 levels, which means to enter the work you start with a small intake of alcohol. To listen to the subsequent level, you are required to have another dose. The information on each level of the work is thematically tuned to the gradual intoxication of the body and in level 4 (The Gender of Alcohol) this becomes directly the theme. Liquid Leveling is permanetly installed at ZIRO CAFE, 24/3 Hauz Khas Village, New Delhi, India (Phone: +91 11 26561268) to be listened to daily from 11:00am to 10:30pm.

During the closing weekend of VEZ Jesper Alvaer and Isabela Grosseová will organize the liquid symposium of overflow and waste. They will hack the linear flows of market’s energies and its straight circulations. They will turn them upside down, back and forwards, directing them into deep levels of sub-consciousness. Their catalyst is soft alcohol carefully measured in five consecutive doses of gradual leveling and progressive intoxication. Their symposium will encompass a combination of geographical references to Hanza’s economic history with more elaborated exploration of shifting market realities, sculpting ideas from the depths of an aspiring but conscious drunkenness. Going through this purgatory journey, the participants in the symposium will find new affiliations to their economic surroundings. 10 FEB 2013 no body came on sunday, 12 FEB 2013 person 1: this Russian lady visited , she was not ready to take alcohol early in the morning , she liked the idea though and she would like to visit again some other time. Later 2 more came(friends)…they liked the content and the idea of intoxication but could not go ahead because of intake of alcohol. they had gone till 3 level. 13 FEB 2013, no body came.. 14 FEB 2013, two families came for the visit on valentine day…they all are non alcoholic. 15 FEB 2013, person 1: a guy from college of arts, Delhi really interested to try and will come again with some more friends..(artists) to try leveling. 16 FEB 2013, people from united states came over.. person 1: Jesse was laughing a loud as i think intake of alcohol was working with her especially in the Level 4….other two also started laughing after watching her.. person 2: Susie is a quiet girl…enjoying the audio thoroughly till the end..and suddenly laughed watching Jesse person 3: Riley Gold, he liked the content in each Level especially Level 2, 3&4..he said he will checked for the material in the archives. He enjoyed listening and watching Jesse laughing her ass off.. these people where very relaxed and i personally enjoyed interacting and watching their reactions in each level. :) 17 FEB 2013, person1: Anil (my friend), an artist, he kind of enjoyed the whole project especially Level 4&5. no body came for the of the day. 19 FEB 2013, person 1: this lady from Spain turned up but since she is non-alcoholic, she could not try it…she wished to listen to the audio though without alcohol
person 2: a guy from episode 2 really interested to try and will come again with some more friends..(artists) to try leveling. person 3: Nova from United States just landed in Delhi would like to come again, he could not try as he was really tired. the whole concept of intoxication interests him and said, would like to hear the context too…!! 20.FEB 2013, person1: 12.20pm: would like to try but since she has to drive back home, she could not try. she said will definitely come again with her husband to experience how alcohol reacts to the content given in the audio(input). later then, for the rest of the day.., nobody came…!! 21.FEB 2013, person1: 2:50pm, this foreigner lady with her son turned up, when i told her about vodka, she immediately said no and asked her son too not to try. later then, for the rest of the day.., nobody came…!! 23 FEB 2013, no body came. 24 FEB 2013, person 1: 16:20. A lady from Austria came up, she liked the idea, wanted to try but just quit drinking for a month, she might turn up later. person 2: 16.35-16.50. two couples came up and they could not try as they were non alcoholic..would love to listen to the audios without alcohol. person 3: 17:02. A lady from Germany came, she has a problem in hearing; found it interesting but due to her hearing problem, she could not try. She got to Know about this through German Newspaper.
